The 16th Presidents Cup will conclude with 12 singles match on Sunday at Medinah Country Club.
For the first time ever on U.S. soil, the Internationals will take a lead into the final session. The visiting side leads by three points after two, hard-fought sessions on Saturday.
The International team is seeking its second win in the biennial competition and first since 1998. The U.S. holds an overall 13-1-1 (tie in 2003) advantage.
The singles matches were determined by U.S. captain Brandt Snedeker and International captain Geoff Ogilvy after the conclusion of play Saturday. Snedeker needed to front-load his singles lineup in hopes of grabbing some early momentum, and he did, while Ogilvy sprinkled his stars, though with most of his heavy-hitters concentrated in the latter half, where the Cup could potentially be clinched.
